Jerry is currently in his 30th year of Architecture; 20 years of which were in Minnesota, employed by Architectural Resources, (ARI, Inc.) for 10 years as Project Lead/Project Coordinator. Ten previous years was for mentorship with vocational training as drafter from Lake Superior College. Jerry has been employed for 10 years in South Dakota as project manager. Of the time spent in South Dakota; Former director of inspections for the City of Hill City, currently Lead Interior Planner of Rapid City Regional Hospital, operator planning company under single owner LLC, for project planning & consulting, working with Schlimgen Design Consultants, Inc. as project coordinator & lead on several projects.
     Jerry has completed nearly 300 commercial projects, designing, managing, and detailing successful designs for college campuses, middle & elementary schools, hospital/clinical systems. Jerry has attended numerous continuing educational seminars, core seminars, etc. Also is accredited in the state of Wisconsin for architect licensure.
     Jerry has extensive experience in commercial building and design with almost 300 successfully completed projects that include Educational Facilities for College campuses, Elementary/ Middle and High Schools, Daycare Facilities, County Garages and Offices, State Garages and Offices, Manufacturing/ Warehouse Facilities and numerous commercial buildings of different occupancies.
     Jerry’s experience also included numerous interior remodel projects, re-roof & window replacements, historical, exterior building restorations and preservations projects.

     Mr. Schlimgen is currently the President of SDC, Inc. with 33 years of professional experience in Architecture and the Building Industry. SDC, Inc. has been in business since 1996.
     Former Administrator of Building and Grounds for the Rapid City School District, oversaw 23 facilities with approximately 2 million SF of building, maintenance staff, large custodial staff, security personnel, and oversaw all construction and maintenance projects in the district. I provide experience in management, and a prospective of the owner’s need for project control and professional representation.
     Former Head of the Building Inspection Department for Rapid City has insight to government regulations and building codes, along with managing the administrative and inspection staff. Working with the public and government representatives in many situations afforded vast knowledge of dealing with complex public issues.
     Mr. Schlimgen has worked for several Architects in Rapid City prior to working for the City of Rapid City. This included approximately 6 years of experience with Architectural firms that did hundreds of projects in Rapid City, and outside the area. Started work with first Architectural firm in 1982.

     Dallas holds an Associate Degree in Applied Science with 20 years of experience in architectural design, drafting, consultant liaison, project coordination and contract administration, 18 years of which have been with SDC, Inc. During this time he has worked on various residential, commercial, industrial, mixed-use, hospitality, restaurants, and educational. Currently is working on his BA in Applied Science.
     As a Project Manager/Designer/Drafter for SDC, Inc., Dallas as worked on over 100 projects while at SDC, Inc. with a wide variety of experiences in the building industry. Dallas is also involved in all aspect of the projects allowing for a complete understanding of the project at hand.  Dallas has been a integrate part of SDC, Inc. success in the architectural business.
